①enhance(v.)…を高める

②refrain(v.)…を控える
to stop yourself from doing (to stop oneself doing)

③itinerary(n.)旅程表、旅行計画
a plan of a jurney or a list of jurney
ex.)I always make an itinerary when I go travelling.

④respectively(adv.)それぞれに
in the same order as the things you have just mentioned/≒each
ex.)My sister and I are 25 and 29yearsold respectively.

⑤emphasize(v.)強調する
to say something in a strong way, (stress out)

ed とd の発音

会話の中で気になったようで改めて教えてもらいました。

〈past tense of the verb〉

worked, walked, talked, danced, wanted, stared, started, managed

過去形にしたとき、ed を語尾に加えるものは〈t〉、d のみ語尾に加えるものは〈d〉の発音になるので注意しましょう。

〈tの発音になるもの〉
worked, walked, talked, started

〈dの発音になるもの〉
danced, stared, managed

早口言葉の She sells seashells by the seashore…..は難しすぎて、一文だけ3回言えたら合格にレベルダウンしてくれました。

次の早口言葉の課題は Babbling baby boys blurted boldly.です。先生はこれが得意らしい。短いから頑張ります!(^^)!

favorite appetizerは何？と聞かれて、単語がわからず調べさせてもらいました。しかし、前菜は、～のテリーヌとか、～仕立てのなどのイメージだったので、そんなもの知らない…と激しく戸惑ったのですが、ちょうど休憩時間になって救われました。
そして休憩をはさみ、私が知ってる前菜はプロシュートかハモンセラーノだと意気込みながらレッスンを再開すると、先生に軽く食べられるものというような感じで説明され、枝豆や卵焼きを伝えることになりました。
前菜って、お店についたらとりあえず頼むものっていう認識でいいんですね。これが今日一の学びです。appetizerはえだまめ、チーズ、サラダ。
