今日のTopicはとっても面白かった！興味がある分野ほど英語が出てこないですね。
先生情報によると、一番長寿の国は日本で、二位はイタリアらしい。

・duration (n.)：存続
・centenarian (n.)：100歳以上の人
・bed-ridden (adj.)：寝たきり
・euthanasia (n.)：安楽死
・contract (n.)：契約
・resourceful (adj.)：賢い、機転のきく

英作文

あまりにもめちゃくちゃな英語で伝えたので、ちゃんと考えてみます…。(質問の文章は忘れたのでそれっぽい感じで復習)

・Which country do you think has the most longevity?
→I’m not sure, but Japan might be.

・How common centenarians do you think your country has?
→I think there are a lot of elderly people in Japan, but centenarians are not so much.

・Why does your country have longevity?
→Because Japan’s lifestyle might be good for keeping wellness, and we don’t like choosing death. It means we can’t choose the way that doesn’t take medical care, although most people don’t want to live even if they are bedridden.

・How do you think longevity affects the economy?
→If they can reach over 100 years old in good health, it might be a positive effect on the economy.Because healthy elderly people don’t need medical care, and they can contribute to society by sharing their experiences and knowledge with young people.

・What do you think is the effect of longevity on the environment?
→If longevity people have good health, it also affects good on the environment.
Because they are resourceful and have a lot of knowledge.
I might be able to learn the way of sustainable living from them.

もっと復習するつもりだったけど、自分の答えを考えているうちに質問を忘れてしまった…。今日はここまでにしよう。「when it comes to」と「I wonder」を使いたいのになかなかうまく使えない。あとbecause以外の理由の言い方を習得したい。
